Hello, I'm Hannah Currant, a qualified EFT Practitioner and Shiatsu Practitioner.

I'm delighted to be working alongside Woven Minds to offer additional wellbeing support for young people and their families.

Supporting Emotional Wellbeing, Nervous System Regulation and Resilience

Hannah Currant Image 11.jpg

Many young people and parents experience ongoing stress, anxiety, overwhelm, emotional challenges, sleep difficulties, low confidence, physical tension, or the impact of navigating complex situations. Both EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and Shiatsu can provide gentle, effective support to help the body and mind feel calmer, more regulated and better able to cope.

How I can help

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)

Often known as "tapping", EFT combines gentle tapping on acupressure points with guided conversation. It can help to:

  • Reduce anxiety, stress and overwhelm

  • Process difficult emotions safely

  • Build confidence and emotional resilience

  • Improve emotional regulation

  • Support sleep and relaxation

  • Reduce the impact of worries, fears and negative thought patterns

Sessions can be provided online or in person.

Support for Parents and Guardians

When a child or young person is struggling, parents and carers are often carrying a great deal themselves.

You do not need to wait until you are overwhelmed before seeking support.

I offer Group and 1:1 support for parents.

1:1 EFT and Shiatsu can help parents and guardians to:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety

  • Improve emotional resilience

  • Feel more grounded and regulated

  • Manage the challenges of caring for a young person with additional needs

  • Create greater calm and balance in everyday life

Parents and guardians are welcome to book sessions for their own wellbeing as well as for the young person they are supporting.

Shiatsu Therapy

Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing, hands-on therapy based on traditional East Asian medicine. Treatment takes place fully clothed on a comfortable treatment couch.

Shiatsu may help with:

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Stress and anxiety

  • Physical tension and discomfort

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Fatigue and low energy

  • Emotional wellbeing

  • Improving body awareness and self-regulation

Many people find Shiatsu creates a profound sense of calm, helping the body shift from a state of stress and alertness into one of rest, recovery and balance.

Working with Young People Under 18

Before booking a first appointment for anyone under the age of 18, I ask that a parent or guardian books a 30-minute online consultation call with me. (£40)

This gives us an opportunity to:

  • Discuss your child's needs and circumstances

  • Explore the challenges they are experiencing

  • Decide whether EFT, Shiatsu, or a combination of approaches would be most helpful

  • Answer any questions you may have

  • Ensure we create the most appropriate support plan

Following this conversation, appointments can then be booked either:

  • In person at Neal's Yard

  • Online (for EFT sessions)

Booking your Consultation

If you are a parent, guardian or adult client seeking support for yourself, you can book a free 15 minute discovery call with me here, where we can discuss how I work and whether you'd like to see me in-person at Neals Yard in Bristol or online

If you'd like to work with me using EFT online, you can book directly here

I look forward to supporting you and your family.

Parent Wellbeing Workshops

Practical Tools for Managing Stress, Overwhelm and Emotional Exhaustion

Caring for a child with additional needs can be rewarding, but it can also be emotionally demanding. Many parents find themselves carrying high levels of stress, worry, guilt, frustration, exhaustion, or simply feeling that they are constantly “on alert”.

These supportive workshops offer an opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself, and learn simple tools that can help you feel calmer, more resourced, and better able to cope with the challenges of everyday family life.

During the session you will:

• Learn simple techniques to reduce stress and overwhelm
• Explore ways to calm your nervous system during difficult moments
• Build emotional resilience and self-compassion
• Gain practical tools you can continue using at home
• Connect with other parents in a supportive environment

No previous experience is needed.

The workshop will introduce Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), sometimes known as “tapping”—a gentle, evidence-informed approach that combines focused attention with acupressure points to support emotional wellbeing and nervous system regulation.

Suitable for Parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs.

Spaces are limited to help create a safe and supportive group environment.

Working with Hannah has really helped me understand and regulate myself much better. I love our sessions together she is really friendly and kind, and I really like all the things she suggests to help me in between like tapping and Qi gong and other exercises. It feels like she really understands me and I feel really calm and relaxed after seeing her
