Emotional Freedom Technique

Research shows that E.F.T. (or "Tapping") calms the amygdala in the brain, regulates our nervous system, and reduces stress and anxiety. Sometimes known as "Acupuncture without needles" Acupressure points on the face and upper body are gently tapped using your finger-tips, whilst talking through a particular difficulty. The combination of tapping and talking creates a unique fast-track to transformation, alleviation of stress and movement in places where you may have felt very stuck. An amazing tool for reducing anxiety, pain, and safely releasing trauma.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a safe, clothed form of body work, from Japan, based in the Traditional Chinese Medicine System. I work with the client to support the body and mind, releasing tensions where there has been a build-up, or restoring energies where there has been depletion.
Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing and powerful way to address imbalances within the mind and  body, restoring vitality, calming the mind, and easing discomfort or distress.
Currently I am offering guided online 'Self shiatsu' sessions and distance shiatsu healing. I hope to return to hands on Shiatsu in the near future. Read more here

Helping your anxious child using EFT
​
I also specialise in supporting families of children struggling with anxiety. Children respond so quickly and effectively to EFT, it's a fantastic tool to introduce at almost any age. I work  with the parent/guardian of the anxious child, to support them to utilise EFT with their child/ren and also offer workshops introducing EFT tapping for anxiety. Coronavirus:

At this unusual time, I have moved all my sessions online, and am not offering face to face "hands on" Shiatsu. There are a number of self-help techniques I am sharing, to help boost immunity, reduce stress and anxiety. I am also offering Distance Healing Shiatsu.
