Emotional Freedom Technique (E.F.T.) or 'Tapping' is an easy to learn, simple yet powerful technique that once learnt, you can use any time, anywhere, to transform how you feel, physically or emotionally.
In this experiential online workshop, you will learn a little about it's origins, what it involves and how to use it for yourself. Places will be limited to allow for everyone to be involved and gain maximum benefits.
You will experience first hand the incredible difference it can make in a very short time, and be able to use it straight away following the workshop.
Tapping involves stimulating acupressure points on the head, face and body, by tapping gently with your fingers, whilst talking through an issue, pain or difficulty, thus activating our inbuilt healing system, and reducing symptoms of stress and anxiety.
A study published in the Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases found that EFT lowered the major stress hormone Cortisol significantly more than other interventions tested *
Hannah Currant is a fully registered and insured EFT and Shiatsu Practitioner with many years of experience in working with this technique both 1:1 and in groups. She will skilfully guide you through how to use this amazing technique to get some really great results in a very short time.
This is one of a series of online introductory workshops to EFT, and further regular workshops focussing on different areas will be offered, such as tapping for pain relief, fears and phobias, lockdown frustrations, and so on. Further details can be found on Hannahs website www.hannahcurrant.co.uk
"I found the session incredibly useful and I will definitely use this to help control my anxiety. It was extremely well organised and structured and I gained a huge amount of information and learned a valuable new skill in an hour and a half which felt like a huge win. The session felt well held, highly skilled, generous, confident, warm and nurturing
I still think it’s probably quite unusual to come away from a session like that with a new skill you can use immediately and without a sense that something is ‘missing’ that you can only get if you pay more. I’m really impressed with that because it feels right and has integrity"
Penny Little, recent intro workshop participant
What will I need to take part?
• All you need to join in is a laptop/tablet/phone/computer with access to a microphone and camera - this will allow you to be seen and heard during the online sessions. You will need a stable internet connection to use 'zoom' (you will need to upgrade to the latest version if you haven't already)
• You will also need a private, quiet space where you will not be interrupted for the duration of the workshop, to support confidentiality - Both your own and that of the other course participants.
• You may like to have a pen and paper available to make notes ( a worksheet will be provided to download)
• It is also advisable to have a glass of water and some tissues to hand, and to wash/ sanitise your hands before the workshop begins, as EFT involves touching the face, head and upper body.
What should I do if I can no longer attend?
If you find that you are unable to take part please get in touch as spaces are limited and can then be offered to others. For more information, please contact [email protected]
Places cannot be refunded if cancelled within 7 days prior of the event
